I wonder how many negative reviews are not racially motivated?
Each episode is extraordinarily memorable, and gives a great insight into African folklore, something we could do more of in media. The designs appear simple at a glance but are in reality incredibly complex, and must have taken days to animate (especially tortoise and crocodile). Although it isn't as visually incredible as, say, Abney and Teal, it is still unique and absolutely beautiful.
Also, the into theme is incredibly lively. Better than most of the music produced by any million are artist.
Another point I would like to make is that every voice actor knocks their roles out of the park.
If I had to state a single flaw (the only one I could find) is that it can be a tad dark (especially for a young audience)
