This case was solved, in part because DNA showed the killer had green eyes. Only 3% of the population have green eyes yet the killer and the detective who brought him to justice both have green eyes. Also, Det. Loudon is badge 461 and that happens to be the same badge number of the first officer on scene when Pam's body was discovered in 1976. 461 started and closed the case forty three years later.
