This is a short made by Horace Shephard through his production company Inspiration films. He made a number of shorts which featured classical music and what would have been termed light music.Shepherd himself features as a seller of valuable musical manuscripts. There is also a story of a classical composer who cant get his composition published. So he claims it is a valuable composition by a well known composer.Of no great interest.
Stodgy bore of a film in which a young musician writes a masterpiece which he can't interest anyone in because he is unknown. It's only when his mate claims that it is the lost work of an acclaimed deceased composer that people start drooling over it. Poor acting and a few lame attempts at laughs, and it feels as if a fair amount of material was edited out of this in an attempt to make it watchable.
