    A Manipulative Propaganda Piece

The film "Hedgehog - Yizhachok," directed by D. Mitry, is not what it seems. While it pretends to be a regular movie, it's actually a tool for spreading lies and manipulation. In this review, I'll explain why it's so misleading and harmful.

First off, let's talk about the story. The movie portrays the Russian Army as good guys - kind and caring people. On the other hand, it paints Ukrainians as the bad guys - aggressive and mean. But here's the thing: that's not true at all. By showing such a black-and-white view of the world, the movie is twisting reality and spreading false information.

What's even worse is how the film tries to mess with your feelings. It's full of scenes meant to make you feel sorry for the Russian soldiers and angry at the Ukrainians. They use emotions like sympathy and anger to make you believe their lies. But just because something makes you feel emotional doesn't mean it's true.

When you watch such a film, you should always ask yourself these questions: Who is this director? Why he only uses his first name as D. Mitry? If you are confidant and honest, don't hide your true name, cause it will only make you look more shady!

    Hedgehog - Emotional Story Telling

"Hedgehog" is a remarkable short film that punches well above its weight in terms of emotional impact. Despite its brevity, it manages to evoke a myriad of feelings in the audience, leaving a lasting impression long after the credits roll. What makes this feat even more impressive is the delicate handling of such a difficult subject matter.

The film tackles the profound effects of war on individuals, but it does so with a subtlety and nuance that is rarely seen. Instead of focusing on the broader geopolitical context, "Hedgehog" zooms in on the human experience, offering a poignant portrayal of how conflict can shape and scar lives.

At the heart of the film is the astonishing performance by the young actress portraying the little girl. Her ability to convey a range of emotions in such a short time is nothing short of remarkable. From moments of innocence and joy to heart-wrenching sadness, she draws the audience into her character's world with captivating authenticity.

What sets "Hedgehog" apart is its ability to tackle weighty themes with sensitivity and grace. Rather than resorting to heavy-handed melodrama, the film opts for a more restrained approach, allowing the emotions to emerge organically. This makes the viewing experience all the more powerful, as the audience is left to grapple with the complexities of the human condition.

"Hedgehog" is a film that stays with you long after the final frame, a testament to the enduring impact of art in all its forms. Very beautiful music too!

A Rare Gem: "Hedgehog" Sheds Light on the Human Experience

As a lover of cinema who typically abstains from writing reviews, I couldn't help but break my silence after witnessing the sheer brilliance of the short film "Hedgehog." While normally indifferent to the world of film reviewing, I was compelled to respond to the absurdity of the recent "A Manipulative Propaganda Piece" review, which failed to recognize the true depth and impact of this cinematic piece!

"Hedgehog" is not just a film; it's a profound work of art that delves into the very essence of humanity. It transcends borders and conflicts, offering a poignant portrayal of the human condition in its purest form. Despite its setting against the backdrop of the Ukrainian and Russian war, the film is not about politics or allegiances. Instead, it serves as a poignant reflection on the devastating effects of war on individuals and communities.

From the opening scene to the closing credits, "Hedgehog" captivates its audience with its raw emotion and authenticity. The cinematography is masterful, capturing the stark beauty of the war-torn landscape and the resilience of the human spirit. Each frame is infused with meaning, inviting viewers to immerse themselves in the characters' experiences and emotions.

What sets "Hedgehog" apart is its ability to evoke genuine feelings in its audience. It's not simply a story to be watched; it's an experience to be felt. Through its powerful storytelling and nuanced performances, the film invites viewers to confront the harsh realities of war and its profound impact on individuals and society as a whole.

If this film does not evoke feelings in a human being, then I dare say, nothing else will!

    Nina

February 2022. The parents of young Nina fights against Russian aggression. The girl stays at her great-grandmother . But the venerable lady has a secret .

A beautiful film, first for different perspective offered after the chain of news.

Second - for admirable acting. For sensitivity and touching - useful message. For atmosphere and for the decisions of characters.

Not last, for fairy and hedgehog.

Too short, maybe, but precise crafted, scene by scene. A war story perceived by a six years old girl . A death and compassion of old woman. And a soldier . Poetic and seductive kick for discover , in other way, a story who has , today, so many painfull versions.
