Frankie, ti presento Jack

I had a few issues with this movie. #1 you can clearly see the age difference between Joey and his fiancé but yet they claim to have gone to school together? #What was up with Andy Lawrence and that horrid accent? It was very cringe to watch and hear. #3 I'm not sure if it was bad acting (and I hate to say this because I'm a Joey fan) but I was not buying he was a doctor. I feel like he was trying to play a much younger character and I would have much liked for him to act his age for the part of a doctor. I mean don't get me wrong he looks great just not 25. #4 it was very similar to "The Wedding Planner" - not very original. #5 the fiancé Stacy falling asleep did not going with the movie. It felt too cartoonish and not funny. I was so disappointed because I was really hoping to love the movie.

It's a typical hallmark-style romcom and there's nothing wrong with that. The story is standard but fine for a movie of this caliber.

The acting, however, is a real problem. Joey Lawrence, Carl McDowell, and Andrew Lawrence have made caricatures of their characters instead of bringing them to life as humans. It's cringy to watch. The contrast is stark between the men and women in this movie because all the female actors have done a pretty good job. The bad acting of the three prominent males in this movie ruin all the fun.

Overall, I didn't like this movie because the acting isn't just below par, it's actually hard to watch at times. The family affair of cast and crew have severly affected the actors' performance, unfortunately.

I was a little bit into the story and actually enjoying it. Joey's acting ability really isn't too far off and he delivers a pretty good performance here. Good supporting cast, especially in his best friend Boner.

I like this one because it doesn't follow the typical romcom formula. Well, it kinda does, but it's a little refreshing in that respect. Joey of course, is very easy on the eyes and that certainly helps.

Now here's the part I don't understand. What is the need for all the nepotism Joey? Everything I see him in lately seems to be a family affair and I don't understand that I guess. Stop doing that please.
