Sherlock Holmes: Mare of the Night

I personally enjoyed the "darker" take on Sherlock Holmes. Originally envisioned a horror type setting from Sherlock after reading The Hound of Baskerville when I was younger. In addition to that, I also thought seeing vulnerability and insight into some of Holmes' personal struggles added a nice human element to the overall film. Les Best's performance was captivating as Sherlock along with Taylor King's. Thought the villain character was creative too. It's impressive that this is an indie film. I do know the director won San Antonio director of the year in 2024 and look forward to seeing more of his work in the future. Overall enjoyable film experience👍

Must see film to see a shattered hero at the end of his era and the past that haunts him. Creative writing and a super cool villain that you will remember! Happy to encourage family and friends to see this work of art! Congratulations to the cast and crew for their contribution to this film. Small independent films need everyone's support now more than ever so do what you can to support the industry and all the talent that works so hard to create art that they are obviously passionate about. This film will leave you thinking about other iconic heroes and what their story would be if they were real people.

What a great movie, it makes you wanting more. Great acting, videography and score music. They really captured that era in time. Well put together, loved everything about it. We will watch again and again. Can't wait for more to come. Director CJ Goodwyn out did himself, this movie deserves more showings everywhere for more people to watch. I highly recommend this movie, it does not disappoint. Thank you for putting a great film out for everyone to enjoy. I look forward in what's to come in the future with this film. With incredible music scores, dark and terrifying film finesse, and powerful performances that will draw you deep into the mind of Sherlock Holmes, you'll stay on the edge of your seat from the first minute! The cinematography in this film far exceeded my hopes, and the music scores summoned me deep into the murky mires of hellacious stories of love, loss, and sinister retribution. Don't blink.

Very well directed ,awesome lighting , and great Cinema ,this is a must see again . Love the wardrobe and time line in a dark mystery way . Director CJ Goodwin has done an amazing job on this one by choosing the best cast and crew for this amazing new classic film . Actor Les best (Sherlock ) has done an amazing performance for his role . This is like gold. They should play this in all theaters across country , this is an amazing film ,can't wait to see the second half of this amazing film, this Sherlock film is a must see , way different from others Sherlock's films. I give this film thumbs up.
