Wow! The advertising for this show is so below the belt. I wish I could go lower than a 1 star rating and giving Acting Good a 2 star rating is just me being polite but I don't even know just what the hell the writers were smoking when they thought of this but it's just not good at all.
"Awwe! The little white girl wants to get started!"!
The actors in this show are just not acting good at all. I just want to not vomit every time I see the ads for this show but I might just do that.
Who writes shows like this. At the very least the actors can pretend that they're funny. It's just not funny..

It's SUCHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH an underrated show!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I can't wait for season 3.
If you watched Reservation Dawgs and miss the banter, this might do the trick. I see it as more of a lower budget sitcom version of it. Even if maybe only the main character is in sitcom mode (I totally get what another reviewer said about him acting as if he was doing voice over).
What I really appreciate is when a show about indigenous peoples includes music by native artists as well. The intro song has captured my heart.
Overall, I enjoy being able to research the things that I don't understand, just to find out they're actually indigenous traditions/pop culture/beliefs. This show also does this well.
Love that it plays in Canada.
I LOVE THE NATIVE PEOPLE!!!
LAND BACK NOW!!!!!!!!!!!

This show is hilarious, I am saying that as an indigenous person from Manitoba, so much relatable humour to what happens within our communities. Also the use of our language is really great too. It's so nice to have a sitcom that's made about us and for us after years of watching shows like Friends, or Big bang theory yes they are good but where is the indigenous representation.. Acting Good has this tenfold. Sorry to the folks out there who say it's terrible and racist.... Give your head and privilege a shake. No body said anything when Jack Nicholson told a black man to "think white and get serious" in as good as it gets (which is one of my favourite movies) ... or the years and years of indigenous appropriation, or cowboys and Indians women in television. Or the way indigenous people have been portrayed in cartoons up until recent years.
What I'm trying to say is this show is spot on as far indigenous humour goes and the happenings in indigenous communities. The show might embellish situations a bit but for me that just adds to funniness of it all.
Supper funny and relatable.

If you wish to witness "awful" for your self, do it rather quickly because otherwise I would expect the commercial sponsors will pull the plug on this dull comedy series before a half a dozen episodes ever get to air.
The character ensemble are all foul mouthed non descript First Nations who all appear wearing lumberjack coats and live in the fictional small town of Grouse Lake First Nation in Northern Manitoba. The series main star is comedian Paul Rabliauskas as a young First Nations man who returns home to live in his small reserve community in northern Manitoba and resurrect his relationship with his former love interest following a failed attempt to establish himself in Winnipeg.
This would be a good series to show behind prison walls as a way to force life time repeat criminals to be on their best behavior and get the heck out of prison to stop their torture of having to watch anymore episodes of this awful series.
I would hazard to guess that it may be the Canadian government who has provided financial support to initiate this series which is just another example of our government wasting tax payers money once again.
I rate this bore of a show a 1 out of 10 IMDb score and I would rate it a minus score if IMDb allowed for a lower score than 1.

Not even Tina Keeper could save this awful attempt at Indigenous humor. Whoever wrote this crap should be ashamed of themselves. This is NOT how it is in a fly-in reserve. Trust me, the overweight actor who's attempting to be Chris Farley is just not funny as his annoying antics seem to obscure the poor acting and accents of the other err...actors. So many great indigenous based shows are coming out and then this one just ruins everything and put the culture back more years. For future reference, use actors from the north and not these wannabes and has-beens. The only thing accurate is the chief of the reserve. That's a pretty accurate rendition of a reserve anywhere.
