Have you ever wondered what it'd be like if you turned into a dog? How about if you were a dog and owned by a girl who LOVES her pets... a little too much? Here is your answer.
My Life as Inukai-san's Dog is an utter disaster. It is ugly, creepy, and downright painful to sit through. The jokes are weak, the plot is nonexistent, and the animation is bland and uninspired. Even for a 12-minute per episode ecchi it's awful. The characters are one-dimensional stereotypes, and each of them is unlikable. The first three episodes are filled with pandering, grotesque fetishes, contrivances, and cringeworthy attempts at humor. It is one of the worst ecchi ever made, and is not worth anyone's time. There is nudity in the uncensored version, but at what cost? Sexualizing romance between an animal and a human is beyond disgusting, and the execution is just horrific. In one of the most vile scenes, Inukai coerces the dog/boy into licking her toes by slamming her foot against a wall. Or perhaps the most repulsive part is in the second episode when Inukai gleefully watches the dog/boy pee. She takes pictures of him as he can do nothing but scream internally in anguish.

Yes the ratings are bad but I decided to listen to the good ones saying that the bad ratings were just haters. So I watched this anime in one afternoon.
The story is just a guy who is transformed into a dog and he get adopted by a girl who found him in the street. BUT, it's the weirdest anime I have seen in my whole life AND I watched it entirely.
Basically, without saying that the characters are not smart at all, the dog is obviously a pervert and the girls, even worst, are simply zooph*les. The only goal of the anime is to make the girls show their chest and skirts.
But I waited, I wanted to know who transformed the main character. I suffered but finally, I reached the conclusion of the story. The beginning of the last episode was actually good. But the ending was really a disappointment, telling us that they'll make a second season... I waited all this time and endured all this horrible fanservice to not have a real end...
If I'd to find good points, I'd say that the animation and the characters designs are alright. Jokes are rarely funny.
Don't watch this and clearly listen to the bad ratings !

The show's premise is plain and simply absurd, and the anime takes itself as seriously as the manga. Yes, that means watching a 100% sincere story about teenage girls' doing a borderline sexual act on a boy who got turned into a dog. The animation is decent, if I'm being generous, and a plot that is equally crazy that I doubt will ever be explored in the anime. The character is simple tropes that could be described in one or two words. To me, that's what makes it so good to me the unapologetic hornyness of the anime is hilarious. My roommates and I are watching the whole thing together, just dying of laughter at the anime. Ignore the plot, characters, etc. I understand if your moral or ethically concerns stop you from enjoying the anime, but the fact something like this exists is funny in itself to me at least.
An anime shows a human who transforms into a dog and gets adopted by a female he likes. The female is aroused by the dog guy's romantic scenarios and inadvertent sexual attacks. The dog guy is traumatized and lives with a zoophile freak, but the main goal is to show the inside of a girl's skirt. The female character acts and assumes a position without realizing it. The animation is a bit wrong, and Inukai and Pochita's voices irritate me.
My Life as Inukai-san's Dog is an awful ecchi, including drab animation, a nonexistent plot, and shoddy gags. The first three episodes are full of disgusting and pandering humor, and the characters are clichés. The uncensored version features nudity, but the execution is terrible. The method of execution include forcing the boy/dog to lick her toes in exchange for images of him.

To put it simply, the show was pretty good, if this is your kind of thing. The dog itself has a human mind trapped in it, so it isn't zoophilia. People need to get off their high horses and realize this is a work of fiction that has zero chance of ever happening in the real world. Is this kind of thing okay in real life? No. Is it okay if drawn on a screen? Sure. All the characters are sentient, so the idea of consent is there, if that's your hangup.
Stop freaking out about an anime and go hate on real people like the ones Chris Hanson is taking down on his shows. There are real people who do terrible things, and you can help discourage that in real life. This is kinda a "go touch grass" situation. Calm down, son. It's just a drawing.
