Journey

Throughout the first series, Matthew remains in his room and then as we move through to the end of the season, he finally moves to different locations. Creator Bash Dinsmore has stated this as a stylistic choice and that the character is so depressed that they just want to stay in their room, but as Matthew goes on his journey he becomes more free, and he explored the possibility of enjoying life outside his room.
