Gotcha!

Not to beat a dead horse, but Pendleton Ward as Lumpy Space Princess is one of the show's winning features. She's a teenager (with all of the self-absorption that that entails) and that her voice is anything but feminine just makes her lines ten times funnier. Which is why an episode centered on her is a rare treat.

In order to write a trashy how-to book for attracting men, LSP finagles a job as "adventure secretary" for Finn and Jake. It's fairly straightforward: she goes questing, Finn's forced to save her, and she somehow realizes that it's on the inside that true beauty resides. That's about it. But the fun here is seeing just how pitiful she really is. Like showing up to an interview in a grocery sack dress and fruit pie lipstick. It's sad, but it's also what makes her delusional hotness funny.
