Dream Girl 2

It's almost same as dream girl with a bad script, over drama and Ananya Pandey.

Acting - Ayushman Khurana did very good. His acting as Pooja, his dance moves as Pooja will make other leading actress to work harder.

Other actors- Though couple of the side actors has less screen time like Paresh rawal but whatever part they had they did justice. Only actor whose less screen time was a blessing to the audience was Ananya Pandey. Thankyou Dreamgirl 2 team.

Ending - Too much crap. The last emotional song was good, Ayushman's expressions were good. But, since, we have not seen any romantic angle of ayushman & ananya, it was very hard to connect. Looked very fake.

Ananya's expression didn't help at all.

The script could have been structured better. It might have been a better movie, if out of all side angles, 1 might had been cut off to pay better and more attention for others.

Don't watch it guys. Better watch dream girl 1 again!

Excellent work on dialogue timings perfectly balanced matched and nicely presented but predictable.

All Characters are nicely casted and played there role well.. Once more, Ayushmaan Khurrana excelled entertain in the role of the dream girl.

Makers worked hard on presentation of work but failed at story writing. Good First half but second half is not that good.

The movie took a bad turn after the interval when the situation changed from the first half.

. Good laughter material, a finale wording or feeling for movie is that this is a one-time watch or an OTT platform material.. But overall nice.

It was a wonderfully funny family film that was a complete entertainer.

The sequel is unnecessarily made as it doesn't fulfill the previous ones glory

Ayushmann is known for his different characters which are always unique but this time he has overdone it with his overacting..ananya was as usual a show piece rest there were many great actors but no one was extraordinary

The movie has a old content of man being a woman for her daily needs where they have connected with his love story and same old drama of girls father keeping terms of money..the much expected humour was totally missing, the songs are not recognised though they have shown in large sets..the movie was mindlessly going from here and there and tried to connect but it failed

Dream girl the first one was a cult it had that naughtiness and high humour but the sequel doesn't Maintains the brand name

Sorry for bad reviews as was expecting a lot from this team though it is working well on collection numbers.

It's a no brainer laughter riot with such a promising ensemble. Not a bad movie on the whole, you just leave with rushed feeling.

The movie and chaos was moving in the right direction, they rushed it too fast in the end. Not sure who was short of time to make it end well.

Such a huge talented list of actors wasted with no proper screen time and dialogues. Likes of Vijay Raaz., Manoj Joshi, Abhishek Banerjee deserved more dialogues and screen time.

Editing and continuity in a few scenes was it poorest and so obvious, after all it's Balaji! They are used to churning content!

If you're stressed and/or just wish to laugh, do go watch the movie. If you are a person who will nit pick, save your money!

Just before the climax, Annu Kapoor and Manjot Singh say in one scene "Maja nahi aaya", this is the same as what the audience also felt after watching this film. Raaj Shaandilyaa made his directorial debut with Dream Girl in 2019 and that film emerged as the highest grosser for Ayushmann Khurrana. Also, it was one of the finest comedy films ever made in Bollywood. Now, he returns with Dream Girl 2 which sad to say, is nowhere near to its spiritual prequel.

Raaj Shaandilyaa's direction was decent but he was not able to create the same magic with Dream Girl 2. He manages to deliver a one-time-watch comedy film due to its quirky characters, their performances, and the witty one-liners. The dialogues written by Raaj Shaandilyaa and Naresh Kathooria especially in the first half evoke laughter. But in the second half of the film, some of the funny dialogue did not land well. The climax monologue is a disappointment, seems to be forced and it makes no sense. Apart from the screenplay, the music is another letdown. Except for Dil Ka Telephone 2.0, other songs are just passable.

Ayushmann Khurrana impresses again with his performance as a sensuous Pooja. Ananya Panday was average in her limited role. Unfortunately, Manjot Singh, Vijay Raaz, and Abhishek Banerjee had little scope to perform. Annu Kapoor, Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav, and Seema Pahwa were great in the supporting roles and they gave a hilarious performance.
