Not being Turkish and watching this series live and being moved to tears, shows amazing talented acting. Having experienced personal loss in my own life recently might be a factor but I think I would still be drawn to this series because of the realistic story line. I am able to watch with english subtitles later in the day which is amazing as well. What can I say, I cant get enough of this program and recommend that you watch along with me. Kudos to Elcin Sangu! Her performance is off the charts! Another reviewer was trying to research the real life events the story is based on, google the following and it will lead to articles that explains more about this series. Engin Altan Düzyatan's portrayal of the lead character, Tamer, is impressive, showcasing his range as an actor. He Acts With His Eyes Cause Tamer is an Introvert Character. The chemistry between the cast (Engin Altan and Elcin Sangu) is also notable, and the supporting characters add to the overall richness of the show...Overall, "ÇöpAdam" is a must-watch series for those looking for something different from the typical Turkish series formula.... It's a refreshing and thought-provoking show that tackles important social issues while also providing an entertaining and engaging storyline........,

I'm enjoying watching these series specially with Elcin in it. She's a fantastic actress and the male choice is great look and age wise(rough). He played the character really well. There's a chemistry there but it's not even comparable with Bais Arduc in Love For Rent series. After all love the suspense and passion between the two. Very unusual story line that makes you want to keep watching it. There are a lot of waking up to the reality moments which is so true in a lot of families and relationships and that makes you think about your own life! I hope freedom is the result of all these dramas.

Understand this series is adapted from a real life story and I was trying to find out the details of the real events but unable to on the web. So far only 3 episodes have been released and they are all intriguing and I love them. This is a psychological thriller which I read will also touch on Stockholm syndrome. I'm not sure how it will be received by regular local viewers as it's quite out of the box. I for one am loving it! The cinematography and soundtrack delivers a cool, classic visual experience. Appreciate how each piece of music flows seamlessly to another setting the tone for the next scene very well. It's quite mesmerizing. Both Elçin Sangu and Engin Altan are well matched and excellent for this series. Love the rest of the cast too. I just wonder how many episodes will Tamer imprison Peri in the dungeon because there's a limit of how far the story can develop if she is not released soon. I certain love the whole new approach, classic directing and wonderful acting.

I dont get it.

I just don't get the concept of the this show.

Where it's going? What is the point?

So far ,in my opinion, the most degrading series to women.

Tamer kidnapped a woman because he can and he has money.

He jailed her in a basement, drugged her manipulate her till she's "falling in love" .

Well,there is a term for that .

It's called "stockholm syndrome"!!!!!!!

Tamer kidnapped a woman ,cheat on his lovely wife,Berran,and his only child.

"Wanderful" ...

I'm very surprised Elcin Sangu,the wonderful actress, agreed to play in this hideous, stupid and degrading series.

Tamer is not the hero.

Right the opposite, he is a sociopath, narcissistic fellow.

The only two characters I like on the show is Berran and Tamer's partner ,Seko.
