Orbit: Earth's Extraordinary Journey

For someone who has never really understood planets, atmosphere, orbits and weather and has never really had the desire to try and find out more, I found this program really informative and hugely interesting. Done in such a way as to show the interesting aspects such as why we have rain forests, deserts, hurricanes, how Norway is both dark and light constantly at certain times of the year, summer, winter, different climates, everything you didn't know you wanted to know. Done in a scientific way but using everyday objects to really help you to understand exactly how it works and why Excellent for children and grown-ups alike.
