Gilgamesh

I don't like to base my reviews on a Films budget but when I watched this production I was pleasantly surprised. The Writer, Producer and Director Richard Chandler squeezed every penny. The film makes good use of local locations and talent.

The story is well written and original. The plot flows well with the use flash backs and narration by Joseph Gannascoli(of the Sopranos). This was a creative way to save time on costly scenes. The story line is the usual good against evil but the characters do a wonderful job involving the audience with strong performances. It has something for everyone; supernatural, gore(a good body count) and brief nudity.

Keeping in mind this is independent film on a micro budget I think you will enjoy the unique characters and plot. All and all a very interesting and entertaining film.(see trailer)
