What a fun ride the entire way through!
Pacing is great, action is packed, and the cast is spot on. You can tell that the director and cast and crew had lots of fun making it and put their hearts into it- creating an awesome final product.
I'm a huge fan of found footage, and this movie was just so unique I was genuinely blown away. The locations chosen for filming were so cool, and it was refreshing to see the cast handle their weapons properly when using them. (A mistake that Hollywood always seems to make!)
I can't wait to see what else Dillon has in store, and I hope we get more lore for Ghost.

If you're looking for a simple ride that takes you back to a simpler time to make you feel good to your core this is your movie. This has everything that made 80's action/sci-fi movies great. Cheesy one liners, action, suspense and predictable vengeance that makes you feel like you're part of the adventure. Michael Rock does a great job bringing the character Ghost to life on screen and has an "Arnold" type presence. Fun, entertaining and very self aware of what it is. A low budget, passion project, masterpiece that should be seen by all to experience the 👍🏻 (IYKYK). Dillon Brown poured his heart and soul into this movie and it shows.
Trying to fight for the Church, the leader of a Church-organized task force intended to stop demonic activity from spreading is forced to look into a cult that's intended to weaponize demons to unleash Armageddon bringing them together to stop it from happening.
For the most part, there's quite a lot to like here. One of the films' better aspects is the rather fun and detailed setup at play that gives this a lot to like. Initially providing vital clues about the connection to the other film as a fine starting point by getting to know who he is, the way it expands on that brief bit to encapsulate the use of a Holy task force for the Church to fight off against demonic plagues and forces is quite fun. This amount of fine detail is woven into the main story here where he and his partner are sent in search for the cult that's looking to start Armageddon by forcing demonic beings into unwitting hosts and sending them out into the world. This is detailed and builds throughout the first half quite well. That allows the film to become quite eerie and chiling once it gets to the cult activities. The beginning stages here featuring the recovered tapes from inside the cult showing one of their possession rituals on a victim or showing what happens when they catch a member trying to sneak away, comes off nicely building off the setup established earlier. The later scenes where their mercenary skills are put to the test tracking the leader down and dealing with the shootouts including his team and the rest of the cultists in some really exciting encounters. The found-footage aspect to this one gets the action up-close and personal, so the tight spaces and confrontations have more impact being right in their headspace for everything and leaves this quite a lot to like. There isn't a lot really wrong here as the issues aren't all that detrimental. The main point of this one is the cult's leader who suffers from a lot of the drawbacks these films are plagued with as he's far from the kind of charismatic leader needed to pull this off. His ranting and raving is not that type of persona to lead others the way he does, and the lack of context involving what his overall purpose is means the final confrontation has very few stakes or emotional impact when it occurs. There's a confusing nature to what the purpose of the creature coming to life and going on the mission as there's little about this which makes sense, making it slightly disappointing. Combined with the somewhat low budget on display, these are the few minor issues here.
Rated Unrated/R: Violence and Language.

A really fun throwback to 80s/90s action with a touch of horror. Church mercenary Ghost and his partner Eve (and the ever silent Monk) face off against a demonic cult trying to bring a demon into our world. There's a real "video game" feel to this as the action unfolds. Decent practical effects and realistic gun handling ( veterans and serving personnel amongst the cast) make this a fun watch. The final half hour gave me real silent hill/resident evil vibes. All in all this is a really cool movie that doesn't take itself too seriously, takes you back to when heroes were macho and villains were evil. Look out for references to Dillon's other movies.
I went in not really knowing what to expect. I didn't set my hopes high for this one, and fully expected to turn it off. I'm glad that I stuck it out though, because wow...what I got was like Blair Witch meets Predator meets a buddy cop movie. This thing is wild.
After doing some research after the movie I see how little of a budget these guys had to make this movie. While the lack of funds shows at various times, they get added points for creativity. Locations, unique stories, wild characters.
The main cast all did well in their roles, and I hope they keep this thing going. No spoilers, but stick around to the very end for some post credit stuff.
