Mademoiselle Sin

I found myself slightly intoxicated (per usual) and wanting to unwind with a film on Prime that I didn't have to think too hard about. I watched this movie with low expectations, but was actually pleasantly surprised. I expected predictable emotionally dragging drama, but it's leading to be satisfying payoff as the story unfolds. A story of hope and resilience in the face of cruel faith. Uniquely structured film exploring themes of love, miracle, terminal illness battle and adventure.

Some delightful moments, marvelously convincing characters and the lush cinematography, I was hooked. Jean Florentine, the French perfumer was a really fun character that Bozena meets in the middle of her "crazy journey", there is a genuine charm to this movie, one that I haven't seen in a fair while. The film has a nice pace to it and keeps your wondering what will happen next. It also has lots of depth to the characters and breathes new light into the self discovery of the protagonist. A lots of drama, adventure, romance, comedy, and keeping your childish innocence is not a bad idea, it is better than going into complete depression! It was a very pleasant way to escape for an evening.

An absolutely amazing story...deep (saying it as a cancer survivor) , but fun filled with intensity and unexpected events. It delivers lots of feelings ,easily moves you without any forced efforts. Story is emotional and flows beautifully. As the synopsis here makes it clear , it's about a woman in her mid 30's with a fatal diseas who gets on unexpected adventure filled with drama, humor ,escape ,exploring new passions, embarking on different paths. I also loved Baldomero character , he is such a hero , he fell in love with this polish lady Bozena and he is fighting till the end no matter what , not like my husband leaving me when I faced the illness. I really believe we need more real man like Baldomero in this world, who loves you and fights for you not only because you are beautiful, but also because this two people have real soul connection. It's not easy to find this film, playing mainly in festivals, but fortunately it got on a streaming service , I am glad I found it!!!!
