Agents works in comparison to many Hollywood action thrillers, particularly when it comes to its real stunts and grounded approach to action. While Hollywood often relies heavily on CGI and special effects for action sequences, Agents takes a more authentic route, showcasing real, physically demanding stunts that feel gritty and immersive. The choreography and execution are on par with some of the best action films, offering a rawness that Hollywood's polished, sometimes over-produced action scenes can lack.

In terms of pacing and tension, Agents keeps a sharp focus on character development and story, which often gets sidelined in larger Hollywood blockbusters. While Hollywood action films tend to prioritize spectacle, Agents finds a great balance between thrilling action and emotional depth, making the stakes feel personal and meaningful.

This movie offered decent entertainment value. The storyline about a heist and the subsequent chase was engaging for a one-time watch. The Mauritius scenery was absolutely stunning, enhancing the overall visual experience. However, the characters felt clichéd, and the plot twists were predictable. It's a good pick if you're looking for a movie with beautiful cinematography and some action-packed moments.

The film's editing was effective, maintaining a rhythm that kept the audience invested in the unfolding action. The supporting cast provided moments of levity and tension, adding depth to the film's narrative. The thematic exploration of loyalty and betrayal resonated with the audience, despite the predictable nature of some plot developments. Overall, a satisfactory choice for a relaxed movie night out.

Needless to say that I had, of course, never heard about this 2024 action movie titled "Agents" from director Aditya Awandhe prior to stumbling upon it by random chance here in 2025. And with it being a movie that I hadn't already seen, of course I found the time to sit down and give it a fair chance.

The pacing of the narrative left much to be desired. It was a rather slow paced narrative, and there just simply wasn't enough of interesting stuff happening throughout the course of the movie as the narrative slowly moved ahead. I am a bit surprised that writers Kapil Bisht, Pranshuman Singh, Farheen Vencapah and Apoorva Verma collectively could manage to put so little contents into an 82 minute runtime.

The dialogue in the movie was pretty atrocious, and it felt like it was written by someone not even in High School. And the accents didn't really do much to promote any enjoyment in the dialogue.

Of course I was not familiar with the cast ensemble in the movie, which is actually something I do enjoy whenever I watch a movie. The acting performances in "Agents", however, weren't particularly great. Sure, I've seen worse, but the acting in "Agents" was by no means outstanding.

Watchable, if you have nothing else at hand, but otherwise you might give "Agents" a wide berth. Just take heed, the movie's cover over-sells the movie by a landslide.

I never knew that 'action' could be so slow paced and sleep-inducing.

My rating of director Aditya Awandhe's 2024 action movie "Agents" lands on a three out of ten stars.

Did i see the same film? Well yes. Is someone puffing this pile of trash? Seems so.

This is one of the most embarassing, amateurish, limp "action films" i have seen (and i have seen a lot of them).

Plot - risible and paper thin Acting - wooden Action - nonexistent. Possibly the slowest car chase in film history. Ditto the motor boat chase Effects - none i could discern Script - truly, truly dreadful.

This is the first Mauritian film I have seen and i feel bad for panning it but honestly this was so amateurish any streaming service would blush before showing it. I honestly can't believe the reviews here are real, unbiased ones.
