Déjeuner du matin

"Déjeuner du matin" is a tremendously aesthetic movie.

I had the opportunity to watch it in a public viewing in Paris last year where 3 short movies were presented.

I've been amazed by the ability of the director to shape an atmosphere so peculiar in such a short time. I've been really touched by the choices of color (all in white/beige) that let you wonder all the way long if this is a dream or not.

When you read the poem whose the script is taken from you might think that it's exactly what Jacques Prévert had in mind when writing it.

Among the 3 movies seen that day, it was really the one that impressed me the most, the one I found the most professional and whose directing was the most sensible.
