Mayberry Man: The Series

Adding on to the Mayberry Man movie, this TV show continues in the style of The Andy Griffith Show TV show. Some of the actors own children appear in the show and make it great. Also be on the look out for one of the actors from the original series. The tribute artists that appear in the show are wonderful. It is a show that is a wholesome family show that you don't mind showing to all members of your family. No nudity, no profanity, and no political agendas as most TV shows push today.

If you're a fan of the original show be prepared to fall in love with the MM series just as much as you did the show.

Reminiscent of the original Mayberry escape from reality. Fun, family-friendly and filled with familiar lines based on scenes from The Andy Griffith Show that give us long time fans a good feeling inside. Politics is not the subject. The goal is for everyone to treat each other like the town-folk of Mayberry tried to do - in a friendly manner with brotherly love. It may be a little corny here and there, but I think Andy Griffith would approve.

The show is NOT trying to be The Andy Griffith Show. Mayberry is a state of mind.

The movie and the series far surpass anything else available these days for families to watch. We need more shows like this. It's good, clean fun and entertainment.

I am honored to have a small role in The Series and in The Movie. Neither is meant to redo The Andy Griffith Show. Many of the actors/tribute artists have attended The annual Mayberry Days Festival each September in Mt. Airy, NC, Andy Griffith's hometown. The writer/director and the producer are sons of an original TAGS actor. Some children of original TAGS actors are involved. All involved were/are committed to celebrate, pay tribute to, and continue the spirit of Mayberry. A Mayberry State of Mind.

I have been privileged to attend Red Carpet screenings in cities in North Carolina, Indiana, Tennessee, and Alabama. The audiences were always complimentary.

Even if you have never watched one single episode of The Andy Griffith Show, you would really like this show. Of course if you like that show then you would like this even better. But I suggest you first watch Mayberry Man: The Movie, which is free to stream on YouTube. Both are professionally made productions like you would see in the movies and on TV. It is a tribute to The Andy Griffith Show (not a remake or a sequel). Many of the characters have been real tribute artists at the annual Mayberry Festival at Mt. Airy every year. And that's where the plot starts. It's a love story with humor and lots of fun packed into 5 episodes. There is no footage from the original Andy Griffith Show, except for a remade courthouse, but there is a lot of different footage from California to Texas to a wonderful small town they call, Mayberry.

Picking up where the Mayberry Man movie left off, this family-friendly series continues the story of Chris Stone and the great people he met at Mayberry Fest.

This is NOT a remake of The Andy Griffith Show, but a new story with new characters who cherish that classic show as much as we do today. They just happen to live in a fictional, modern-day town by the same name!

Family members of original cast members of The Andy Griffith Show appear, along with many "tribute artists" who portray the classic show's characters in Mayberry festivals all over the country. Ronnie Schell, who appeared in the original series, makes a cameo appearance, too.
