Mike Hodges: A Film-Maker's Life

No pun intended - I assume you are here because you are a fan. Or at least you like the movies he has done. In other words, I would suspect you have seen at least some of his work. And while I am not saying you should not watch this if you dislike him - it at least makes sense to know his movies and his style ... there may be things revealed about the movies that you might not want to be revealed (and I am not talking about gossip and behind the scenes stuff - there is that too).

The focus is on him and the two hours go by quite fast to say the least. Not everything may feel new to you (and sometimes he may be repeating a point or two), but it is more than interesting to see how the man himself ... sees himself and the work he has done. Also his colleagues. This feels more like an extended (to the n-th degree, but still) interview - more than a "regular" documentary ... just a heads up, not saying it's a good or bad thing. That will be up for you to decide - just don't waste your life - I mean time, if you are not into him anyway.
