A Brief Disagreement

This thought-provoking animated short film delivers a powerful anti-war message, building on the quote often attributed to Albert Einstein: "I know not with what weapons World War 3 will be fought, but World War 4 will be fought with sticks and stones."

The film offers a literal depiction of the evolution of humankind through the lens of warfare. It begins with a simple argument between apemen using fists and sticks, then moves through increasingly destructive technologies-only to come full circle, returning to stick fighting in a post-apocalyptic, nuclear-ravaged world.

One thing is clear: war seems inevitable, as humanity just doesn't seem to learn the lesson. This is yet another standout animation from Steve Cutts.
