Drag Race Belgique

... it needs a new host/hostess, fast!!

Rita does not have the "it" factor to make the show entertaining which affects its overall success and enjoyability.

Rita does have talents, but after two seasons, they are not for hosting Drag Race Belgique. She is not funny (although she comes across as she thinks she is). It's not witty nor intelligent, and too predictable.

Whoever is calling the shots on how to dress Rita for Season 2 needs to change careers. They only made it worse for Rita. Her looks each episode were odd and unpolished to the point of being funny, unfortunately.

I hope Season 3 gets a go-ahead, and a better host/hostess! Belgium deserves better ... maybe a great local and popular drag queen instead?

This first season of Drag Race Belgique, for me, is hands down the most boring season of all the Drag Race franchise. There is very little real banter or wit from the judges, especially during the catwalks (where most of the other franchises have great and hilarious catwalk banter and comments from the judges). It lacks chemistry and pizzazz. I don't understand why the entire Pit Crew all look undernourished and underweight, and in serious need of Vitamin D. I found it difficult to be drawn in or invest myself emotionally with the candidates. The whole competition felt rather cold and stilted. I really hope that they will do better for season 2. Fingers crossed.

I'm sad.goving this show.such a low rating, but I guess you have to be fair. It feels like a very poor attempt in doing what now.has become a well oiled machine. As always the stars.od the show are the queens, but the entire judging panel really brings this down. Rita just seems to lack.the omph that's needed. I just feel like her place is odd. And her drag is a tad pedestrian. Didn't see one look that I was taken back by. Then the array of judges permanent and guest just feel either too excited for no reason or just focusing on the wrong thing.

I mean rhey are trying but WOW needs a better quality control. Def worse than season 2.

The queens all look the same. It seems the aesthetic is Belgium is being skinny, no padding and wrapping yourself with some random fabric. You can tell they are not at the same level as the queens in the US. The first issue I have with this spin-off is the host. Rita is kinda boring, never liked her, not even in Drag Race Canada. However, what I found the most off putting is the bunch of tiny statues of infants at the entrance of the work room. The statues have no clothes and are urinating, I mean, that's weird and they love making close ups at them. I won't finish watching the his spinoff, hopefully they renew DR Holland And DR Sweden is better.

I am a French speaking Belgian and don't understand why this Belgian edition is in French only. It's unfair on the Flemish participants who tempt the adventure. I agree there should be a Benelux version, and in English, so that better talent with more skills can be selected from Belgium. I don't like the fixed panel of judges, just not appealing nor charismatic and while I love DR Canada and liked Rita in it, her hosting is really monotonous and repetitive here, not her thing. Too bad. I have no problem that she Canadian. What I like is that candidates are genuine, have a sense of humour and also some gravitas. Having both French speaking and Flemish speaking in the same show could be creating very funny moments but that too is not in there. Sad!
