In the final part of the video there's a scene where each of Thomas' friends, one by one, stand up from their chair and leave the room, eventually leaving Thomas alone sitting in front of a round of empty chairs. This was meant as a symbol of each of Thomas' friends moving far away from Thomas at one point or another to seize their own goals in life. The order in which the friends are shown leaving the room was exactly the same order in which they left in real life: first Jay, then Valerie, then Terrence, then Joseph and finally Quil. Quil is the only of Thomas' friends who didn't actually leave and in fact is still Thomas' producer for many of his projects. That's why she was shown to leave last; she's also notably the only one who actually touches Thomas' shoulder when she leaves.
