Jhoom

"Jhoom Barabar Jhoom" (2007) is a Hindi-language musical romantic comedy directed by Shaad Ali. Set in London, the film stars Abhishek Bachchan, Preity Zinta, Bobby Deol, and Lara Dutta, with a special appearance by Amitabh Bachchan. The story revolves around two strangers who meet at a train station and share elaborate tales about their romantic lives, leading to a mix of romance, humor, and misunderstandings.

The film is vibrant, with catchy music, colorful costumes, and impressive cinematography that adds to its lively atmosphere. The soundtrack, featuring energetic tracks, stands out as one of its highlights. However, the plot feels somewhat disjointed at times, and the character development could have been stronger.

After a long time I was hooked to some fabulous drama with amazing storyline so relatable and acceptable. The characters played by Haroon Kadwani and Zara Noor were next to real and deserve special acclamation. Though this serial has limited episodes, yet it will be remembered by the audience for a long time. Congrats to Geo Entertainment, 7th Sky and everybody was part of this successful project.

Despite all the positives, I must say that the story could have been extended further to show the post marriage challenges to the couple having considerable age difference. Audience would definitely find it to be ending prematurely.
