This anime is amazing. Its like 9 episodes of justice as Yuuya gets the life he should have had from the starts. The romance options are amazing too, personally i prefer Luna or Kaede. And the friendships, and i love how he went from a fat bullied kid to a small god basically. The characters are interesting and i'm always looking forward to seeing what happiness next. The new episode was amazing because it showed more of the other world, which is actually this animes second greatest strength apart from the romance. He can be a legendary knight in one world but still be a school student. He can be shown with a princess and an assassin fighting over him, and it has no consequences in the "real" world. There is also something satisfying about knowing that he can do almost anything in the "real" world. I had extreme bias to 7DS as my fav anime but the second episode of this had me in love, in love with the story the characters and the future. I look forward to what Yuuya will get up to next. Who he will end up with, (hopefully Luna or Kaede) and what the future holds for this. Because i feel like if more people tried this and they keep it up this could easily be one of the most loved anime ever deserving for a spot in the new gen 3. And I want to give another special props to the writers. In the new episode episode 9. Luna and Lexia are written so well and their rivalry and friendship is actually similar to one I'm developing for my own story. They are friends but have a rivalry over him but not in a way where its annoying. (also Luna seems like the one to most genuinely like Yuuya)
This was probably the 5th or 7th Isekai anime I saw within this month. Honestly, I first dropped it after just 5 episodes, as it felt very predictable; for the umpteenth time, an unhandsome protagonist suddenly becomes the strongest overpowered hero.
I do admit that the first episode was quite interesting and fun to watch. The anime does take a little different approach: unlike most Isekai stories that have a protagonist stuck in a bizarre magical world, this one actually has a door through which the MC can move freely between both worlds.
By the end, the anime seamlessly sets up an interesting plot that hints at an exciting second season that I am looking forward to watching.
I'd give it a rating of 6 out of 10, which is fair - neither bad nor spectacular.

"I Got a Cheat Skill in Another World and Became Unrivaled in the Real World, Too" had an interesting premise, but the execution left a lot to be desired. While the idea of gaining overpowered abilities and using them both in a fantasy world and the real world sounds fun, the show quickly becomes repetitive and lacks any real depth.
The protagonist is incredibly overpowered to the point that there's no tension or real conflict. Every problem is solved almost instantly, making the story predictable and boring. Character development is nearly nonexistent-most characters exist just to praise the main character, and their interactions feel hollow.
Visually, the animation is inconsistent. Some action scenes look decent, but others are stiff and lack impact. The world-building is also weak; both the fantasy and real-world settings feel generic, and the show never fully explores its own concept in a meaningful way.
Overall, the series had the potential to be a fun power fantasy, but it falls into the trap of lazy storytelling and shallow character writing. If you enjoy overpowered protagonists with no real challenge, you might get some entertainment from it, but for most viewers, it quickly becomes dull.

I Got a Cheat Skill in Another World and Became Unrivaled in the Real World, Too is an anime with a long title. I thought it was a decent isekai, as I always enjoy the ones that make the protagonist overpowered. I do think there were a couple dead episodes spread throughout, but most of them held my interest. A couple things bothered me that may or may not bother you as well. During the fantasy scenes, the protagonist is often shown as a 3D render rather than in 2D. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, but it is noticeable and it happens often. The other thing is how the protagonist transforms from overweight and "ugly" to shredded and beautiful when he gets his powers. I'm torn on this decision because of how you chose to look at it. On one hand, maybe the character hated his physical appearance and wanted to be as commercially attractive as possible, only concerned with keeping his personality in tact. On the other hand, the show makes it seem like in order to be perfect, you wouldn't be overweight and you need good looks, not just a good personality. Something about it was just off to me from the beginning, as I thought the decision messed with the potential message of the premise. Overall an enjoyable isekai, but it wouldn't be at the top of my recommended list.
If you're a fan of isekai anime and enjoy the classic trope of an underdog becoming overpowered, I Got a Cheat Skill in Another World and Became Unrivaled in the Real World, Too might just be your next comfort watch.
What drew me in immediately was the theme song-easily one of my favorite anime openings in recent years. It's energetic, catchy, and perfectly sets the tone for the show. Honestly, there were times I turned the show on just to hear the music!
The story itself is pretty straightforward. You've got your classic bullied protagonist who suddenly discovers a portal to another world, gains insane powers, and then starts transforming his life-both in the fantasy world and back in the real one. Yes, it's predictable. Yes, it's full of genre clichés. But it's also incredibly satisfying to watch. There's something comforting about the progression, and the dual-world connection adds a fresh twist that sets it apart from other isekai series.
The show blends action, fantasy, and slice-of-life moments in a way that feels easy to watch. Don't expect deep philosophical themes or revolutionary storytelling-this anime knows what it is, and it delivers with confidence.
Overall: A great watch if you're looking for a feel-good power fantasy with some wholesome moments and an awesome soundtrack. It's not groundbreaking, but it's definitely enjoyable.
