Pack Rat

I saw a screening of Pack Rat in Auckland, and was blown away. It spoke to me, as a person who grew up in some of the quieter areas of Aotearoa. Peer pressure, self esteem, and finding out what type of person you really are- this is the journey Pack Rat takes you on, and even if you don't identify with one character, the whole spectrum of youth is there for you to connect with. Otherwise, it's a peculiar window looking into the often insular Aotearoa. I think the journey the Baby Teeth goes on is indeed, unique, but it's the pressures that carry her there that are what I connected with most. Expert writing and directing, I look forward to seeing what's next.
