If a telenovela and a kdrama had baby this would be it.

This drama has nothing original to it and doesn't really have a good script. Uses plots and storylines we have seen in old school dramas many many times but somehow its kind of addictive and it will hook you so you keep watching, the same that happens with South American telenovelas ( if you speak Spanish or you have ever watch them you will understand what I mean)

The twists are super dramatic and even the music is extra extra.

The acting is good, and I like that each character has a good strong background and backstory from the beginning of the series which builds up a lot of interest, the problem is that they dragged the same exact stories for the whole series. From beginning to finish there character development is almost non existent and it just makes it to repetitive because it almost looks like they are using the same exact script for the controlling mum, the jealous ex husband, the crazy best friend and the harassing sister, every scene repeated again in every episode.

Has a lot of romance but I couldn't feel the chemistry between the leads, i got best friend vibes from the male lead and I didn't find his character believable.

The romance scenes and kisses where believable though and more realistic than korean and Chinese dramas, usually Taiwanese dramas are better at these.

Overall I would say is the kind of show you watch as a guilty pleasure to be entertained and want to have fun but you can turn off whenever you want.
