The director, Adam Boster shot his first college movie Psilence in the early 90's in Columbia, MO. It contains scenes shot in Broadway Diner, very close to the location of his father's family business Salt of the Earth Records and Skates, just down the block from the original Shakespeare's Pizza. These were regular hangouts when coming home from college to visit his dad, Eddie. Shakespeare's Pizza was used heavily in Boster's film Shakespeare's Mummy and Broadway Diner is used in Spanks.
