Cocaine Crabs from Outer Space

Do you like underground, B Rated films? We'll guess what? It's not even B Rated. It's like Z Rated.

It's like someone just filmed everything on an iPhone and they didn't even know how to use an iPhone because they're used to pagers.

It was just so bad. So so bad. It's got it all:

-Unfocused shots -horrible cuts and editing -do you like the sound of wind? Cause there's a lot of that!

And the budget? Must have been $100.

I'm not gonna do any spoilers or anything cause I'm not that guy, so if you're REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY bored, go for it.

Only gave it 3 because I dig homemade movies, but man, it's bad!

If you have ever watched a movie that was reacted to by Mystery Science Theater 3000 and loved it then you will love this movie. The cheapness of it made it all the better. It is one of those movies that you could say it's so bad that it's good. Me and my friends watched this movie and could not stop laughing but in all honesty the actors did great jobs with it. None of them even looked at the camera unless it was intentional to break the fourth wall. If you want to laugh your butt off and have a good night with a funny movie then this is the one for you. On top of that the actors are all love able dopes. Yes there are some scenes where you can actually see the strings being used to move the crabs but at the same time that's what adds to the comedy. They say it's a horror movie about crabs from outer space but I think they knew what they were doing with the comedy aspect and think they did a great job with the extremely low budget they had for this film especially when you consider something like sharknado which had a budget of 2 million dollars for all the CGI and this film had anywhere between 1000 to maybe 5000 as a budget and sharknado was considered a B-Movie but I would even throw this in there as a B-Movie.

Dont cha just hate when you get crabs ? ... well maybe not in this case ... SO here we have ...WOW the definition of a B-film ....this almost seems like one of the many drug fueled animals films that have been coming out lately since COCAINE BEAR you say ? .... well this predates that movie by a whole year ? ... yea so who ripped off who mr.bear ? ... now this here crabs from space eating the mountains of snow ....is ...low budget for sure ...so low in fact i have a feeling they literally found some plastic crabs at the local thrift shop and said " you know what ... i can make a movie out of that" .. BAM ...here we all are ... and i can respect that... (thats literally how my "season of the witch was born lol)

SO lets get to it shall we ? ... the story is loose ...just randomly tossed together enough to make something make sense .....the acting is terrible ....the FX are - PLASTIC CRABS ..and some REALLY bad green screen ....its out of focus sometimes (i know how that goes for sure lol)... this movie is great ... it KNOWS what it is and doesnt try to be anything else ....and THAT makes a good movie ... the biggest problem indie films make is trying to be a million dollar film when they are a 100 dollar film ... BE funny ...BE rough around the edges ....BE yourself ... and own it .... this movie has fun, it is fun , its silly (obviously) ...i give mad respect to these people, everyone involved did a great job , its not easy making this stuff happen so you all get a gold star ....

the colors are nice by the way ... sound is good ...

I was cracking up from the opening shot to the ending. This movie actually surprised me, I was expecting garbage, but give it a chance, there are so many redeemable qualities to this if you like low-budget comedy.

The stupid wordplay, the noire-like plot line, the self-aware tone and cartoony jokes- honestly, this movie is packed with great jokes that give A-list comedies a run for their money. The cake for the baby, the romantic dinner, the rube goldberg machine that takes itself out for a beer.. All around a fun production performed by lovable goofballs with genuinely good comedic timing. I loved it, great date night movie.

My girlfriend and I sat down to watch a movie and stumbled upon this work of art. I adore B movies and she agreed to give it a try.

When I say that this was a great film, I mean it. It took itself just the right amount of serious (not at all), had tons of laughs and had fun moments I will remember to come.

Some reviews for this movie are not so pleasant, but maybe they just weren't ready for the most beautiful passion project. A "Congratulations for quitting smoking" cake for a baby IS funny, if you came for a movie with Hollywood budget, what did you expect when you saw plastic crabs? 10/10.
