The Texting Incident

The great Dana Vespoli joins the Missa X team in an acting role, protraying Chad White's stepmom in a droll rom-com that evokes vintage short subjects Missa directed in the same vein, such as "The Webcam Incident", which starred Chad with Summer Day as his stepsister.

Chad has turned to his stepmom for help, as he's seen photos of his wife Shannon looking glamorous and is afraid she's begun dating. They're separated but still living together in their home, and Chad wants to reconcile.

After much cajoling he gets Dana to agree to pose as his new girlfriend, so he can text pictures of them togehter (her face not shown) to make Shannon jealous. Things escalate to the inevitable -mutually satisfying- conclusion of having sex with his stepmom and everything turns out surprisingly happily.

It's great to see mature Dana in action after her emphasis on directing in recent years, and for nay-sayers who think Chad is too old to play her stepson, the still vibrant Vespoli is 16 years older than him.
