Talking about certain topics always is and will be uncomfortable for many. As an example, the dark humor of the 90s is now taboo by "modern" society. Involution? Darwin would give him tachycardia...
Here is a short film that addresses an old and almost worn-out theme about homophobia, but from a different point of view, telling how hard and difficult it would be to get out of toxic repetitive circuits.
The way they do it makes the difference here because as I already said, this topic is super touched on in the global independent scene but the way they approach it makes you stay until the end to find out if that something that you always expect in a film happens, whether for better or worse. It has enough intrigue to keep you hooked.
Sometimes I say that there are short films that should have been feature films because a short time is not enough to address the topic that the director wants to tell us and, more than anything, his intention, but here more time was not necessary.
The performances are good; The average of what it should be, good production and direction. It's obvious that they put effort into it, although the budget makes some things obvious (for the worse) but that doesn't distract the minds of the majority who watch this short.
