Before I begin, I wanted to comment on his previous album "Famous Friends", some songs were decent but some as otherwise slow and somewhat sounded the same and also didn't sound country.
So, now with the song itself, "Young Love & Saturday Nights", I definitely agree what everyone else is saying on the internet, that this is an exact copy of David Bowie's classic Rebel Rebel, as they both exactly share the same tone and melodies.
This is undoubtedly one of the most hated songs of all time in 2023, and I pity any country music stations playing this garbage or any other non-country song (however Parker McCollum's Burn It Down is one of the best non-country songs I've listened to).
"Young Love & Saturday Nights" has unfortunately started Chris Young's downfall, spitting on David Bowie's grave and treating him as a caricature.
It's disgusting how Chris Young was legally allowed to copy off Bowie's work. If Robin Thickie got into legal consequences for copying Marvin Gaye's "Got To Give It Up," this legal situation also should've happened to Chris Young.
Chris Young needs to do better or just quit.
