The Wayfinders is a story of 3 high school students who somehow find themselves in a real of medieval theme where magic is real. They try to find their home while trying to make sense of what is happening to them.
Acting is generally good; there are some old timers who fuel up the quality, but some of the young cast could use some more acting classes.
The story is simple and effective. Nothing you haven't seen a million times before, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. It serves its purpose, which is fun.
The dialogue could use some more polishing. There are times it feels forced but the overall quality is passable.
Visuals and effects are mediocre, slightly lower level than what I expected but it is beautifully balanced by the lovely landscape.
Generally, it is a lovely attempt to tell a story and a good way to pass the time. I enjoyed it, you might too.
