The movie is great overall - natural acting by everyone, entertaining, and grasps your attention well! Loved the unique storyline. Especially for youngsters, this is a must watch. I don't understand Malayalam still I thoroughly enjoyed it and understood everything - thanks to the all the actors who played their characters so so well. Towards the end I was just holding my breath thinking what would happen next... and boom!! It surprises you :D The end was mind blowing! Enjoyed watching this thriller :) Huge shoutout to Adithya Sai ;) I have known him since his Instagram reels era - feels so good to see him on the screen!

Go in with easy expectations from the movie , can multitask and watch movie in first half ,second half takes a little bit of your focus but overall super chill and pleasant movie . Can sit back and watch teens dealing with their largest life issues (including first time acting challenges) on a relaxed Sunday .

MAYAVANAM is a young energy movie which tells the story of 4 medical students. It's a gripping crime thriller that expertly weaves suspense, intrigue, and unexpected twists into a compelling narrative. The main roles are wonderfully played by 4 new comers. But parallel characters are done masters of Malayalam film industry. Alenzier ,jaffer Idukki ,sreekanth Murali, senthil krishna, sudi coppa ....all are performing with electric punch.

Music scores are done by the director himself. A blend of Indian ethnic and western feels are beautifully loomed to create a modern tribal melody. Many scenes are uplifted to celestial planes with his genius work.

The cinematography of jomon made this movie a dreamy experience because the central theme is based hallucinations of medicoz. Editor Samjith Mohammed deserves special appreciation for his electrifying cuts which maintain kinetic but meaningful drift through out. The forest area they selected is awesome with deep wild greenery. Mohandas the art director of lucifer and 2018 had designed the production with superlative craft man ship. The film carries a strong message against drug abuse in students world. The director is using hallucinations of these students to speak about the hell of drug industry and its social disasters. 1 hour 40 minutes movie is worthwhile watching. Let more beautiful movies come out from Dr Jagathlal and his crew.

Yesterday one of my friend sent me a prime video link of a movie. He told it is something different. I have seen mayavanam in that link. Yes it is something different related drug business among student's communities. It is an excellent movie with good intentions to spread the message against drug abuse. Well scripted with energetic direction. Cinematography, editing, fight sequences, soundtracks all are well integrated. The lead roles are done by new faces, but they all performed awesome levels. Old generation actors like jaffar Idukki, allensier and Sreekanth murali all have done wonderful jobs. It is a small beautiful movie. The terminal scenes could have little more clarity regarding the concept of hallucination. But it doesn't touch the stem of story line. Such different kinds of make ups should come out as opportunities for new talents. Congratulations for entire team behind this work.
