Ah, hold onto your seats, folks, because SKYND's latest snooze-fest, "Heaven's Gate," is about to put you into a coma. You'd think a shock band known for their true crime fascination would bring some edge to the table, but instead, we get a video as soulless as a vacuum cleaner. I mean, seriously, this band has been on the circuit since 2018, but it looks like they're running out of steam faster than a geriatric hamster on a wheel. And don't even get me started on the song itself - this is about as terrifying as a marshmallow. I'd sooner expect to be scared by my cat playing with a ball of yarn. So, here's to SKYND, the masters of dullness, proving once again that they can turn even the most gruesome true crime stories into a lullaby. Seriously, there is just nothing related to the story of the cult. Where is the poisoned drink, where is the second founder of the cult, where is the Hale-Bopp comet? The clip is absolutely empty and looks as cheap as possible. In fact, there's like only two scenes in the video - Skynd sings and plays with curtains and some old grandpa standing in a T-pose, and then falls. No symbolism, no connection to the true story of the Heaven's Gate cult.
Keep up the lackluster work! =)

SKYND's 'Heaven's Gate' music video is a quite simple yet an excellent of artistic expression that will linger in the minds of viewers long after the final chord has faded. With its captivating storytelling and clever symbolism, this is a music video that demands to be experienced. The video grips audiences with its dark, atmospheric visuals and eerie soundscapes. SKYND's great vocals and even spooky make-up set the stage for a mesmerizing experience that is equal parts chilling and entrancing. One of the most striking elements of the music video is the portrayal of the actor playing Marshall Applewhite, the enigmatic leader of the Heaven's Gate cult. SKYND's decision to depict him almost like a bright-looking Grim Reaper is a simple yet clever choice. By presenting him in this way, the band not only adds an extra layer of symbolism to the video but also invites viewers to reconsider their preconceived notions about power and authority. Although cheaper-looking in comparison to their music video about the cult-leader 'Jim Jones' and having some elements that do seem a bit familiar to their 'Michelle Carter' video, 'Heaven's Gate' is still something I recommend to check out. Well done!

- QuizThis is the second SKYND music video to be in black & white.
- BlooperIn the music video, there's only one actor depicting one of the leaders of the Heaven's gate cult. In reality, there where not one but two leaders of the cult; Marshall Herff Applewhite Jr. (also known as Do) and Bonnie Lu Nettles (also known as Ti).
