I had some hope after seeing the promos-thought this would be a delightful, feel-good film. Silly me! Apparently, the filmmakers believed every scene would be a riot, but alas, only a couple of them managed to tickle a nerve. The rest? About as exciting as watching paint dry. They decided to stretch a tiny plot, probably enough for a short film, into a full-length feature-brilliant idea, right?

So, we have a jobless, lower-middle-class man Subramanyam in his 50s who suddenly finds a million bucks in his bank account. Why? How? That's the burning question. The answer? Oh, they drag us through an hour-long tribute to Allu Arjun-movies, dialogues, antics, you name it. Just what we needed, right? And don't even get me started on the "wedding during the corona lockdown" sequence. It felt longer and more torturous than the actual lockdown. I couldn't help but wonder if I was watching a movie or accidentally switched to a never-ending daily serial.

As for the love story between Arjun and his girl friend? Riveting stuff-if by riveting, you mean uninteresting and downright annoying.

Now, let's talk about the lead actor, Rao Ramesh. His acting is as good as ever-though, good luck actually enjoying it. Indraja, playing his wife, did an okay job. Nothing to write home about.

The music? Let's just say it's generously below average. And the direction? Middling at best.

In summary, totally worth skipping.

I'm thoroughly thrilled by the plot of the boy. The lead actor is extremely convincing as a confused but committed person to get a government job. However, due to certain circumstances, he has to wait for 25 years to get a job. Meanwhile, his wife becomes the sole owner in the home, while his son is still studying, his mother-in-law is always watching comedy TV shows. Day one day Maruti gets 10 lakhs in his bank account. And What follows a comedy riot involving various confusion and twist and tricks. Well, not all scenes are very comic, a few involving Ramesh and Harsha Vardhan Bone tickling. Songs are Passable. The story seems to be staged in early 90s, but there is use of smart phones so I'm not sure about the timeline.. Overall, it is a one time watch without any violence, which is a reap thing nowadays.

The direction and the music really formed up to be a good harmony. Great screenplay with a nice twist & turns with continuous comedy. It's been a while I saw a Telugu movie and am very glad I choose this to start my holiday break. Really recommend it. The characters were well-developed and relatable, making it easy to connect with their journeys. The cinematography was visually stunning, capturing the essence of the story beautifully. The dialogues were witty and engaging, adding an extra layer of enjoyment to the overall experience. Overall, "Maruthi Nagar Subramanyam" is a must-watch for anyone looking for a feel-good movie that keeps you entertained from start to finish.

Really a Very Good Film with Proper Bles of Comedy and Emotions.... Great Work. Story, Screenplay, Twist and turns, Comedy and Actors Performance were really Great 👍👍. Cast and Crew has put their Real Efforts to be a Great Time appreciation and Good Locations as well. Seems to be showcasing real time characters in a Nice way to conveniently used and not got any Hirt or hatred is again a point to Appropriate Genre. Overy Film was true Enjoyable and could be a Bigger Hot in the current season. I anticipate even on the OTT it would really have a Better reach to most of our Audience and will do Very well.
