Flawed but watchable

I really like the idea and the story and from there alone it really could have been a hit series.

I always find it very charming, when elderly folk bands together against a common enemy or to achieve something spectacular.

Sadly, it does not work this time.

It suffers from bad casting and even worse acting, most notably the mayor and her henchmen as well as the leader of the sect are just silly.

Also it sometimes turns very very slapsticky, but without being actually funny.

With a slightly different cast or at least from the hands of a way better director, I could see myself enjoying this way more than I actually did.

Nice if we are in the 20s

After watching the 10 episodes, It's a funny tv show, however the acting was so weak.

If this show was targeted for small children, I would understand then, however you get tricked from the first 5 min of the series, and then bunch of unbelievable fairytale story with very stupid characters.

It's my first Mexican tv series, and I'm disappointed, the main plot was good, however it was need a little bit of work on the script and the actors.

The two stars were for VFX and cinematography.

I don't recommend watching the 10 episodes, You can skip the last 5 if you want to, save your precious time.
