The problem I have with most found footage horrors is the implausibility of someone continuing to run a camera while being pursued by Bigfoot/witches/aliens. And the biggest problem I have with most zombie films is the implausibility of returners being... well... the whole concept of returning. I'm happy to say after a somewhat shaky opening few minutes, this film delivers a plausible scenario for both. The science is well thought out, the situation quite believable and even the laboratory set wonderfully realistic having been crafted within an apparently vanishingly small budget. Almost all the action requiring FX is off-screen, again presumably a nod to the budget, but this isn't intended to be a gorefest in any case, plenty of those elsewhere.

All in all for the apparent total cost of $1000, this delivered way more than I expected!
