Mother: *Shoelace* To me, the whole concept of ' Shoelace' originated in the family court, a battleground for family disputes. Today we see, divorce rates are escalating all over the world for various reasons and many times, children in such families, may have no one to lean on. When families break apart, most of the times, children are forced to make difficult decisions. They have to decide with whom, they are going to stay.. would it be mother or father.. I wondered how young minds deal with the dilemma and the preference.. Already, the child has gone through trauma during the proceedings and yet has to face another dilemma... In such a difficult and hard situation, does anyone take a note of child's internal turmoil? I wonder... Chinu, is a young boy in ' Shoelace', is going through anguish, when caught between divorce and his decision of choice. He in his own logical way tried to solve it... Does Chinu succeed?
