Ok, hear me out, but this series at least knows what VTuber culture really is and captures that spirit very well especially compared to something like Kizuna no Allele.
VTuber Legend stars Yuki Tanaka (voiced by Ayane Sakura and Hayden Daviau), who is a drunk, depressed, ex-corporate NEET who tries to get a better job as a VTuber herself, but fails to do well at first in that industry. Until one day, she forgot to turn off her stream, and thus broadcasts her true self as a vulgar drunk who goons over her fellow genmates, to which hilarity ensues.
The fact that the anime actually uses Live2D software actually gives off the impression that you are actually watching a VTuber's livestream, and it certainly uses it quite well. Not only that, but it also shows things that actual VTubers go through daily, ranging from collabs, monetization, and it also gives off very good messages about being yourself.
Of course then again, this anime isn't for everyone, but overall it gets a solid 10/10, so I definitely would recommend it, especially if you're into VTubers.
