This is the official trailer for the documentary, "Time To Shine," which is about brother and sister, Dave and Donette Smith, and their band, Ivory Star.

In the 1990's, Ivory Star was one of the most successful rock bands in Nebraska. The band was formed by Dave and Donette Smith, who are brother and sister. This short documentary is about their passion for music, their first cover band, Street Legal, and their regional rise to success with their next band, Ivory Star. At one point, Ivory Star sold over 20,000 copies of their self-distributed cd of original music. That cd, "Vicious Circle," climbed to #21 on Album Network Magazine's Coialition of Independent Music Stores sales chart. The band also opened for many name acts and had 13 major record labels interested in signing them at that time as well. However, not all dreams come true in the music business.

The film is written, directed, edited, and produced by Jim Fields; Associate Producer, Joseph William Simmons, and Executive Producer, Christine Young.
