I was born in mainland china, growing up in the absurd era of china, Being educated by the communist party to split personality,distorted human nature and mutated thinking. I have done a lot of things that I am reluctant.

The personality expression of the characters in this film is very real. I am very glad that I came to a free and democratic country in the west and got rid of the the control of the communist party. I found my real self.

I genuinely enjoyed this movie. It tells a powerful story about a global event that changed all of our lives, and it does so with honesty and restraint. The filmmakers tackled a sensitive and controversial topic, and I admire the courage it took to bring this story to the screen.

The cast is excellent across the board, with strong, believable performances. One standout is the actor who plays Andrew-he looks uncannily like a young Keanu Reeves, and he brings a quiet intensity to the role that really stuck with me.

What I appreciated most was how the film avoids sensationalism. It's not about shock value or politics. Instead, it focuses on people-how they coped, struggled, and tried to make sense of what was happening around them. That human focus is what gives the movie its emotional weight.

This is one of the most eye-opening films I've ever seen about the Chinese Communist Party. It doesn't just tell a story-it shows how deeply the system controls everything, turning people into tools used for the Party's goals. The line from General Han really stuck with me: "No one is irreplaceable." That sums it all up. In this world, people are disposable, and that's terrifying.

What hit me hardest is how so many still go along with it, even knowing the truth. The film doesn't give easy answers, but it pushes you to ask tough questions. It's a wake-up call for anyone still stuck in the system or blindly following it. Honest, intense, and deeply unsettling in all the right ways.

As a Chinese immigrant, this film deeply moved me. It made me feel suffocated and overwhelmed. I believe the director truly understands China. I can imagine the immense pressure he must face to create a film like this...... facing the communism dictatorship, just like the whistleblowers in the movie. I may not have their bravery, but I'm deeply grateful to them and pay tribute to their courage!

My father and my mother belongs to the generation that live through the Cultural Revolution. Although the film only briefly touches on that era, its portrayal of that generation is so accurate.

I sincerely recommend this film to people around the world. As a Chinese, I hope others can truly understand the Chinese people. We are kind-hearted, yet many of us have been brainwashed by dictatorship. We must stand together to protect the world we all share. Don't let the lies turn us against each other!
