Cinematography was great. Characters were great. Music was great. Unfortunately much bad writing and a bad ending. Chopin's death not covered enough at the end. Chopin became deeply religious at his deathbed, which is not described and is a major part of his life. Aside from that much bad writing, many weird "unnatural" scenes.

I was waiting for this movie and bought tickets to premier, but the only good scenes were icluded into trailer. From the very beggining and for 2.5 hours you can see clodely blood cough very precisely, it's disguasting ( it's not about chopin's life, but the story of his unhappy dieing. In the middle we see lots of pigs on boat and those pigs will come again in his gallucinations... Maybe it has value as an art of cinema, but for regular person I was hoping for smth more pleasant. I liked movies with E. Kulm but this one was disaster ((

This was a pretty good movie, shots and scenes were made very well and it was good for an eye. Actors performance was great. Movie shows Chopin's life pretty decently. However not quite what I expected, I think the problem was about writing, and the movie was kinda forcing us to see their vison, it was very overwhelming.
