This is Marathi Cinema's answer to Drishyam from the Malayalam and Kahani from the Hindi film industries.

The plot, the characters, the acting - the film is all hits and no misses. I hope the Marathi audience doesn't sleep on it during the theatrical run and that it receives the recognition it rightfully deserves. Sooner or later, this gem will be discovered-I just hope it's not the inevitable Hindi remake that steals the spotlight, but that the original Marathi cast and crew get their well-earned praise.

This movie has the potential to break boundaries and elevate Marathi cinema to new heights! I urge everyone to witness this experience on the big screen and be part of this cinematic milestone.

Attending the premiere of Like Aani Subscribe in Singapore was an electrifying experience, with the film captivating the audience from the very beginning. The director , Abhishek Merukar built an atmosphere of mystery and suspense, expertly crafting a story that kept everyone guessing until the last moment. The multiple intersecting narratives kept viewers on edge, questioning each character's motives. The climax was unexpected and left me in awe. The film's clever pacing, coupled with its brilliant twist, makes it a benchmark for regional thrillers, proving that Marathi cinema can hold its own in the suspense genre.

I happened to watch the movie at the Singapore premiere and I was glad that I did not miss it.

The movie starts with a peppy number which allows you to get into the groove however, few minutes into it, the plot starts to unfold and you know that you are in for a juicy whodunit tale which keeps you gripped until the last minute when the suspense is revealed.

Without giving any spoilers, the movie's plot revolves around the ongoing challenge that we see with teenagers/youth who, in their desire to become famous on social media, can get entangled into an undesired situation (murder in this case) and face extreme consequences.

Abhishek Merukar's work shines as a debut film maker. He is able to keep a good balance of humor and drama while keeping with the central theme of suspense throughout the movie. I read in his interview that he is aware that the Marathi movie audience is intelligent and wanted to serve them with an entertaining story that respects this fact. I would dare to say that this is a very noble thought not just for Marathi movie audiences but also for Indian cinema as a whole. I wish more filmmakers will think this way and only then we will have movies that can compete and stand at the same level with world cinema.

The casting of the movie is spot on. Amey Wagh is completely in the character of an Insurance agent who while keeping his clients interests, also looks at his own interests. Amruta Khanavilkar brings a mature take in her character of a social / NGO activist and also brings the star value the movie deserves. Jui Bhagwat has got a perfect debut as a lead actor and handles the various situations and expressions that her character requires very well. The supporting cast Rajasi Bhave, Srikant Yadav, Pushkaraj Chirputkar, Vitthal Kale, and Shubhankar Tawde lend their performance ably to keep the plot suspense on point.

All in all, this is a movie that every Marathi movie audience should watch and support so that more and more filmmakers can bring the stories that we deserve. Being a suspense drama, it goes without saying that it should be enjoyed on the big screen.

This film kept me on the edge of my seat from start to finish. Abhishek's direction is impressive, weaving a suspenseful narrative that grabs your attention. The plot twists are unexpected and well-timed. The performances were top-notch, especially from the lead actors. Kudos to the entire team!

Abhishek has crafted a masterful thriller that combines suspense and emotion seamlessly. The storytelling is engaging, with every character adding depth to the plot. The soundtrack complements the narrative beautifully. This is definitely a must-watch!

The film is a brilliant mix of drama and thrills.

After reading the title of this movie, I thought it must be a cringe movie about a GenZ influencer. But I was wrong. Amruta Khanvilkar and Ameya Wagh acted very well in this one. The girl playing the influencer is not that good in acting. It's a murder mystery. How the influencer gets stuck in it and how the character of Amruta Khanvilkar tries to help her is shown in this one. Some part of it is predictable. Still I would consider it a good attempt. The twist in the story is good. They kept the curiosity alive till the end by giving good story build up. They should have come up with better name though.
