Når snøen har smeltet

A very sensitive short film from a child's perspective about emotions and coping strategies that are not verbalized and are indeed very difficult to verbalize. The child actors seem to have been carefully selected. And the landscape and surroundings are so characteristic of southern Norway (the trees, the sea, the rocks, the forest ground, the weather, the clothes). If the film were set in the 1970s instead of the present, one would imagine oneself in Karl Ove Knausgård's "My Struggle 3 / Boyhood Island." As a graduation film for a film school: highest quality. One hopes the director (and also the two lead actors) will be able to continue down this path in the future.
