It's starting to get a bit boring, the same old tune: the clumsy struggles of poor souls who moved from Budapest to the countryside, presented in the most absurd, far-removed-from-reality approach possible.
If we just consider the logic of who watches RTL's shows: predominantly people living in rural areas. The worst possible misstep is yet another story that stereotypes the rural-Budapest divide in such a negative way, offending not only rural residents but also city dwellers, while having absolutely no connection to reality.
"No salmon?" Please, salmon hasn't been the hallmark of luxury billionaire families for at least 30 years. :D
Drunk municipal employees in the morning? Young people romancing in a cemetery? Naive, incredibly dumbed-down dialogues?
Unwatchable, offensive, and simplistic storytelling, yet again, unsurprisingly coming from the same person.
And the thing is, RTL does have watchable shows-I was even subscribed. But ever since this came out, along with *Floor* and *Drága örökösök*, I unsubscribed because it's unwatchable.
What there *should* be more of (not even one more episode of this show): quality content like *A kiraly* or *Az ugras*
This? Just take it down already. And fire the person responsible, or send her to the smallest village for a few months so she can actually see rural life for the first time in her life.
