Mafia Lover

It is a good film but there are moments in which Ace essentially SA's Max under the guise of "you like it and are pretending not to" and it's uncomfortable to watch. Ace also has hidden cameras to spy on Max which is weird behavior. Besides these moments, they have an interesting dynamic and the film gets easier to watch after halfway through.

I am starting to wonder if vertical shorts will see a huge jump this year in viewership and therefore reviews. It always shocks me when I see something amazing like this short and it has no reviews. I was a bit sad it was only 20 episodes. I'm not going to go into a synopsis - it's better to go in blind. I can say it's a mafia story - very well written for a vertical drama - and two legitimate stage actors as the male leads. The acting is PHENOMENAL. As an American of course I'm obsessed with their perfect accents. They are super easy on the eyes. And even though it's a vertical drama - and those usually sacrifice quality - this one really really doesn't. The acting was top tier. The romance was perfectly placed throughout the short. I would've loved to have seen more - but it was done so dang well and with a lot of care. I really hope these two actors do more shorts and maybe some projects together. Their chemistry was off the charts. So if I'm going to rate this short against all other BL shorts... this one so far is the 10/10. There was nothing cringy. They truly went for quality. I want more of this content!
