The first season was good but season two and three have just gotten worse and worse to the point of ridiculousness. I finally stopped watching during season three - after the Ben debacle.
At this point, there is not one likable character in the entire cast. Shauna is the most vile character in the history of television/film - and Melanie Lynskey as a badass is just laughable.
The fact that these characters are trying to hide what happened is just dumb. An investigation of the human remains would've uncovered so much of what they did. After that, any 20-year old would've cracked under questioning.
Each episode just gets more and more absurd. I won't be watching season four.

This movie is just plain awful. Very disappointing. Trash. I can't believe i actually paid to see it. Super predictable. Bad acting. Terrible ending. I cannot believe this movie has a 7+ rating. It is one of the worst films i have seen in years - right up there with "Barbarian". It unfolds in non-linear chapters to attempt to surprise the audience with a twist which i saw coming in the first few minutes of the film. I almost stopped watching, but thought it might get better. Nope. The final scene, which is drawn out far too long, just puts the exclamation point on how truly terrible this film is.
And then it just went downhill from there. Episodes 3 & 4 were terrible, they just felt like filler that had nothing to do with episodes 1 & 2. Episodes 5 & 6 were bizarre and painfully boring to watch. Each new episode is just so disjointed from the previous episodes. Also, the dark sets, especially the hospitals, are so overdone and tiring. Hospitals just aren't constantly that gloomy and dreary. Slow pacing, bad dialogue, terrible cinematography, and awful storytelling.
Not a fan of the acting. All of the characters are a mess. Sorry, but Niecy Nash was not a good choice for the role of the detective and Nicholas Chavez was not a good choice for the role of the priest.
All of Ryan Murphy's projects over the past few years contain these weird, apocalyptic, scorched earth, dream/nightmare-like scenes, smoke wafting everywhere, bizarre camera angles and close-up shots, half of the characters are dead or are acting like they're dead; it's so predictable and contrived.
Then he'll try to wrap up all of the bizarreness and ridiculousness of the season in the last five minutes of the final episode, but leave 99% of it unanswered (you know, for the viewer to interpret), because he's too lazy and confused to actually figure out how to explain the entire mess that he wrote himself into. This may as well be season 13 of American Horror Story, which has deteriorated severely in quality over the years. This series is no better.
