  • Brilliant film

There are a million positive reviews of this film and I'm not eloquent like them and have nothing else to add really other than this was just about a perfect film.

It was so simple. No special effects, no 3 hour run time, no convoluted plot. Just a simple 90 minute film about 12 guys exploring about every issue there is like racism, sexism, classism, ageism. It was all there and done so well.

This is a must watch. Why can't they make more movies like this?

  • Crazy story

We all know the story so I won't go into that so I'll talk about the film. Pretty well done! The tension was there throughout. The scenes were graphic but not too graphic. Just enough to make you uncomfortable.

The best was when that little girl saw that door open and for the first time you felt hope. When the neighbors rushed up and were all helping. That was awesome.

    That a* got off easy.

  • Worthy sequel 7.5

I love the first one. And the second one was just as good. I like the first one it had that same humor that was just enough. It was not over the top and it was not annoying. It just fit great.

I do want to talk about the casting of the two dads. Will Ferrell's dad, John Lithgow, I thought was perfect. Perfect casting. Mel Gibson on the other hand I thought was terrible. He was just so out of place in his acting felt so forced in this one. I don't know who could've done it better but this was just not his best role.

Again, I enjoyed it and would definitely watch a third one if they ever made it.

  • Fun family movie. Great cast

I was watching this and thought that they just don't make movies like this anymore. There was nothing over the top. Nothing too silly. Nothing was forced. The humor came out naturally and it worked.

Great cast too. Everyone played their role well and had great chemistry.

This film is 10 years old when I finally watched it. I'm interested to watch the sequel now and hoping for more of the same.

  • Fun but a lil corny

I remember loving this movie when it first came out. After watching it again in 2025 it really did not hold up well for me.

The comedy just seemed forced and cheesy. Nothing was really clever, it was said to be funny and it often fell flat.

There were a lot of sword fight scenes too. Admittedly, I had skipped past some of those.

One thing it did do well was the setting. All of the castles and cities in ruins were all beautiful to look at. I don't know where this movie was filmed, but wherever it was was so beautiful.

It just did not hold up well for me.

  • Hard pass

There are so many of these types of movies. Low budget, mass produced, forgettable. Who funds these?

Anyway the movie itself wasn't terrible. It was a little suspenseful and a little creepy I guess but just nothing sets it apart. Why even bother with making it?

The ending was a letdown but I didn't care because I didn't care about the movie. It was also short too which I was grateful for.

  • Enjoyable and fast

I did enjoy this but had two major complaints. The fighting scenes were too long and happened so quick. There was just a bunch of jumping and swinging and camera movements it was hard to keep up. Also the animation seemed choppy, as intended maybe. It just didn't flow smooth like most animated shows you see, not as bad as South Park though haha.

I do love the lore in these films though. So much potential. I'm glad to see the series finally moving in a great direction with this new director on board.

  • Not a full film

This really shouldn't even be on IMDb. It's not a full film. Maybe 10 minutes of film, with an hour of clips from the first 3 movies. It got canceled during filming so they just tried to salvage what they could.

It had a cool plot premise but that was about it. Well the actress may have gotten naked in it too but we'll never know.

  • Amazing installment

Like all the other reviewers, this is hands down the second best entry into the series. They finally did a sequel right!

The cast was all great. The setting of the forest and mountains and plains worked great. They didn't tell you much about the predator and they never do and that's not a bad thing!

I'm glad to see this series finally get some justice!

  • One of the best!

I just finished all 250 episodes of MF. Wow what a ride!

From the first episode to the last, I was engaged in just about every one of them. The writing never suffered during its 11 seasons. A lot of shows have that problem but this was fresh every episode.

I won't go into all the characters as they were all great. Jay and Phil though haha. The best. Just hilarious people with hilarious personalities.

The finale was a little bit of a let down but that's ok. I was hoping for a little more closure on a lot of the sub plots that were going on. They just ended it on an emotional high and that's ok!

This was a great show just to watch on and off when you have a few minutes. Just so great! Love Modern Family and will miss it!

  • Just a B slasher flick

There really is nothing redeeming about this film. The nudity was good. The gore was ok. The plot was very thin. Just about what you would expect. The only reason to watch this is if you plan on hammering through the trilogy on a cool fall weekend.

There is an unfinished 4th film in this series which of course I'm going to track down and try to watch.

  • Unimpressive slasher film

This was an easy 5 star rating. There was really nothing redeeming or interesting about this film. The lead actress cannot act. Sheesh. I usually don't care about the acting but this was bad.

The one thing I did like about it was the outhouse death scene. That was all done. Graphic and disgusting.

I did not like the ending but I understand there's a third one.

  • Wack plot, too much fighting

First off I am not a fan of kung fu type moves. Just not my thing. If you like them you'll probably like this film. The action scenes were just way too long. I skipped passed a few of them. Also it's cringy when there is an Asian guy who stands there and moves his arms and fists around quickly for 10 minutes to build suspense. It may have worked in the 80's but I wasn't feeling it.

I did like this underground type sets. They all had a cool Goonies or D&D type adventure feel to them.

Kurt Russel's character was kind of obnoxious too.

  • Funny sequel! 7.5/10

Look. This movie was funny. I laughed. I was entertained. They did a great job. Was it very memorable? Not really. I don't know if I'd watch it again but it was a fun hour and a half.

There is one word to describe those who didn't like it. Pretentious. Get over yourself.

It did get a little silly and dumb in the second half. That's kind of the consensus from what I'm reading.

Please don't listen to the pretentious haters. Watch it and enjoy it.

  • Decent low key thriller

Why the low rating? This actually should be a 7/10, I don't know.

It was a decent movie I think. It didn't really have you thinking about it afterwards. You just kind of finished it and thought ok, now what am I going to do today.

My main gripe was the very very end, the last scene. Why did that happen? Everything else in the film had a reason for happening but that. Yeah it was a little shocking but why put it in?

Decent quick thriller. You could do worse.

  • Suspenseful but long 7.5

I really enjoyed this movie. I enjoyed all aspects of it except for the length. There were several scenes that I felt were unnecessary or ran just a little too long.

Al Pacino is the man. I really believe he is the greatest actor I've ever seen. Whatever role he plays he is just so good at it.

I was also happy to see that this movie followed for the most part the real life events. It's such an interesting and crazy story. They did a good job at bringing it to life.

Great film just a little long.

  • High suspense! Low believability

This movie actually wasn't bad. What they did great was great suspense and tension throughout. It generally kept my interest throughout the entire film.

What I didn't like was how they behaved during the movie. They all fought and bickered about the pettiest stuff. They would all be working together and focused on survival.

The believability with the entire movie was sus too, especially the ending. Way too many people involved.

  • Wild ride of a movie 7.5

This might be in the top 10 of the most messed up movies I've ever seen. It was the definition of dark comedy.

The events of this movie just keep spiraling and spiraling out of control. The movie actually gets better as it goes on. The ending was great also. Wow.

My only gripe was the constant yelling from everyone. It got loud and annoying.

  • Great POW movie!

I love war movies and somehow only found this gem recently. Vietnam war movies are my least favorite of the war genre but this was good.

I loved that it moved around a lot. Some pow movies keep you locked in to the same setting the entire film, this one had a quick beginning and then took off at a very fast pace.

I did not enjoy the ending much. Did all that really happen? If so I guess you had to say it. It was just a little weird and cringy. Also it was sad to see the negative portrayal of the prisoners. I guess that all wasn't true.

  • Decent suspense thriller

They did an excellent job creating tension and suspense. My heart was racing in several scenes. They toned down the jump scares too which was nice.

I really don't have any gripes other than it was really nothing new here. You've seen these movies many times before and they did nothing memorable.

It was pretty short and definitely worth the watch if you're looking to get your heart racing.

  • Slow short and confusing

This movie moved pretty slow. That wasn't a problem but it was only like 80 minutes long and the movie didn't really pick up towards the end.

My main gripe with the movie was the ending. I hate having to read a wiki article on the plot to figure out what happened. There is no way anyone could have figured that out by just watching the movie.

The two positives were that it was short and the girl was pretty.

  • Decent feel good movie

This film had nothing too spectacular about it. I was honestly just kind of boring for me. The only redeeming thing about it was the detail they put into the little flying saucers. It was really neat when they zoomed in and you could see all the electricity flowing through them. Even the only cgi at the time wasn't bad.

It was just kind of boring for me. Lot of cliche acting.
