Valutazione di AnnVilsson
This episode along with all but one of the other episodes is a revisionists dream come true. The bias meter has been turned up to 11.
For the record, I wasn't born until well into the 90's but my parents were born in '63 & '64. The last of the Generation Jones Boomers. Their recollection of the 70's was very different than the narrative being pushed forward in "The State of the Union is Not Good". I've talked to others that agree the seventies were an excellent time.
It looks as though the brain trusts at CNN forgot to leave out most of the good in the 70's. As kids growing up in the '70's my parents each had a parent at home, while the other parent worked. The majority of kids they went to school with not only survived but thrived in a single income family.
Yes, the Carter years were bleak through gross mismanagement of the economy....but CNN did its level best to gloss over his failures.
No spoilers. Watch and decide for yourself. JMHO.

...got the better of me and I watched this slow motion train wreck. It moved very slowly. Trudging like a sloth. In fact, I was going to skip this one as this topic has been done repeatedly. On top of that this entire notion Mr. Bell is stressing has been debunked over and over again. Clearly the grift has been turned to 11 for this episode.
Have I seen the topic done worse in a show. Actually yes...but not by much. So there is my rationale for the 2nd star in my rating.
Mr. Bell makes many assumptions and statements and doesn't back it up with any facts. This is where he completely falls flat.
No spoilers. You can come to your own conclusions but I can't recommend this show in any way, shape or form. JHMO.
